Sports and Games

The college has well-groomed teams of different games offered by the college. The college offers the facilities for games and sports activities for the students namely – Athletics, Badminton, Ball Badminton, Throw ball, Chess, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volley Ball, Rangers and NSS unit enrolled 40 and 100 students respectively.

Cultural Activities

The college offers a full range of cultural and co-curricular activities under the aegis of Cultural Forum that prepares teams for participation in the youth festival in items like Debate, Elocution, Quiz, Painting, Flower arrangement, Rangoli, one act play, Skit, Mime, Classical Dance, Fancy Dress, and items in Music Vocal category. The cultural committee will conduct various programs as per the schedule, which will be circulated after the admission. Various incentives and concessions are provided to the sports persons and talented artists, NSS, Rangers units to boost their performance.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

A National Service Scheme (NSS) unit is functioning in the College. The Unit conducts activities which cover the surrounding areas and has also volunteered its services where ever required. The Unit aims to inculcate, in the students, a sense of dignity of labour, social commitment respect and love for rural folk. It also helps students acquire leadership qualities, problem solving abilities and sensitivity to social problems in the society they live in. Students with interest and commitment to social issues are welcome to join the NSS. Students who serve under this scheme will be issued certificates. It will help them in the seat allotment for higher education and placements.

National Cadet Corps (NCC)

The NCC sub-unit is attached to the 27 Karnataka Battalion. Both the Boys wing and Girls wing operate from the College. Interested students can enroll themselves as cadets. Physical fitness will be the main criteria to join NCC. The battalion has over the years sent a number of cadets for the Republic day Parade at Delhi. Many of our cadets have qualified themselves and secured B and C Certificates. This has helped them to utilize the seats reserved under NCC quota for getting admissions to various courses of higher learning and also for placements in different organizations.
